May Flowers is a freelance travel writer. She specializes in travel planning, cruising, and vacation destinations.
Her travel career began over twenty ago when she became a flight attendant for a major airline. Over the years she has taken full advantage of the opportunity to travel the world extensively, on and off the clock.
May has always had a sense of adventure and a nomadic spirit. She has lived in Miami, Dallas, Pittsburgh, Oakland, Kansas City, Philadelphia, Memphis, Charlotte, Oklahoma City, New York, Costa Rica and Charlotte. Her friends sometimes jokingly refer to her as Dora the Explorer.
She obtained her B.A. in Journalism and Creative Writing as a non-traditional adult student. She is now pursuing her MBA with a concentration in Hospitality and Tourism. She has been published in several magazines including Caribbean Travel & Life and she was a Blogger for AOLTravel.
